As a Fethiye wedding photographer, I’m thrilled to share the highlights from a stunning destination wedding I recently had the joy of capturing. The lovely couple, Ruby and James, who are originally from the UK, chose the breathtaking coastline of Fethiye, Turkey, as the backdrop for their special day. With guests flying in from the UK, Dubai, and Canada, the celebration was truly a global affair!
Ruby and James first visited Fethiye years ago and immediately knew they wanted to get married there. They fell in love with the picturesque coastal views and decided on a beach wedding to showcase the beauty in their bridal photos.
The couple tied the knot at the Yacht Classic Hotel, a renowned and elegant venue right by the sea. With its luxurious rooms offering gorgeous views of the turquoise Mediterranean, they felt it was the ideal location for their wedding.
Whether you’re a sailing enthusiast or simply love the beach, this area has something for everyone! It boasts sandy shores, ancient ruins, and a vibrant local culture that keeps visitors returning—just like Ruby and James. Plus, Turkey weddings are celebrated for their breathtaking landscapes, making their choice all the more fitting!
The day began with Ruby and James preparing in their separate rooms, both overlooking the pool and the Mediterranean Sea. Ruby looked absolutely radiant, and there was a touching moment when her brother walked her down the aisle. Their vows were incredibly heartfelt! Even as their Turkey wedding photographer, I found myself deeply moved by their Mediterranean wedding.
After the ceremony, everyone enjoyed cocktail hour by the sea, and I used the sunset to create marvellous photos of the special moments. Also, I had a blast capturing the couple with their guests in the hotel garden and commemorating the romance of their Fethiye wedding.
As night fell, everyone moved to the restaurant for a delicious dinner while enjoying the gorgeous surroundings. The atmosphere was just right, with heartfelt speeches, cake-cutting, and the couple’s first dance lighting up the garden. When the music started, the dance floor was packed – everyone had the best time celebrating Ruby and James!
As their Fethiye wedding photographer, I really had fun capturing the romantic story of this couple. They were one of those unique newlyweds with an interesting background, and everything about them was fascinating. That said, it is not strange that everyone enjoyed it so much – including me!
I just want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to the couple. It truly warms my heart that I was part of their big day. Their celebration is evidence of how magical a Turkey wedding can be, especially with the stunning coast as a backdrop.
