If you have ever dreamt of an elopement wedding on a beach, you will be totally charmed by this wedding. Lovebirds Zahra & Colin planned a destination wedding in Gocek, Turkey, and it was one of the most whimsical and enchanting celebrations you can think of. As a Turkey wedding photographer, I was elated when they contacted me to plan photography for their private beach wedding. Everything about this romantic beach elopement was stunning and nicely planned. Turkey elopement is always an attractive escape for you to plan the day the way you have always envisioned. Those who have been to Gocek know how famous it is for its splendid bays, offering picture-perfect settings and backdrops.
The wedding celebration of this gorgeous couple was a union of two different ethnicities. Colin is Irish, and Zahra is Iranian. They met in Iran and lived in Dubai for a long time, where they also got engaged. As they wanted to elope somewhere with a private beach and a forest, they chose Gocek as the culture is similar to Iranian culture. They opted for Rixos Premium Gocek as their wedding venue for the same reason. Boasting beautiful islands and a luxurious yacht marina, it is stunning and offers various elegant settings for you to relax, unwind, and celebrate. With its backdrop of a secluded beach and dramatic forest-clad mountains, this is an undiscovered and unspoiled gem in Turkey.
On the wedding morning, Zahra arrived in a boat from her room while Colin eagerly awaited her at the dock holding flowers. She looked phenomenal in a beautiful white, halter neck, backless gown, while Colin looked dapper in a sharp black suit. He was all smiles when he saw Zahra arriving on the boat. Shortly after, the couple moved for their first look at the dock. They looked amazing and were very comfortable throughout the session. As the location featured a forest, a mountain range, a secluded beach, and a breathtaking landscape, I could capture many stunning portraits of the couple. As a Turkey wedding photographer, I always prefer capturing a lot of natural and candid shots as they tend to bring out the truest, rawest emotions.
After this, we proceeded to the ceremony. Zahra and Colin read their vows and shared a passionate kiss. It was the perfect opportunity for me to capture some genuinely real emotions. The wedding ceremony was followed by a cake cutting, a romantic dinner by the sea at full moon, and a memorable photo session. Rixos Premium Gocek was a taste heaven offering unique flavours combined with excellent services. Overall, this intimate Turkey destination wedding happened exactly the way Zahra had planned, with a lot of emotions, love and a full moon.
